Amelia "Peluche"       Sponsored by Jed Rhoads

Amelia was born in a drainage ditch, where she spent her first night as her young Mom tried desperately to keep her warm in the wet sand.  A day later, Amelia and her litter mates arrived with here with their Mom, where they were immediately kept warm and dry.  While at first it was hard to tell her from her other blonde siblings, she quickly sprouted fur and was appropriately  nicknamed, Peluche (Teddy Bear).   Amelia was adopted by Aracelli, who, along with her family, have cornered the market on spoiling Amelia rotten and we at RROU could not be happier!

After her first night in wet sand
Amelia developed a skin problem.
Swaddled in blankets, 4 day old
Amelia made a visit to the vet
where a course of antibiotics
cleared everything up quickly!
Picture
No more cold, wet sand for Amelia and her
siblings.  At RROU, our newborns have fresh bedding changed throughout the day.  A clean environment means healthier puppies.

Is she a puppy or a toy?  Sometimes, it was hard for us to tell!

Don't be surprised if Mama Aracelli pulls out her wallet full of Amelia pictures.
She is absolutely enchanted by this puppy and we are all too happy to hear about her pride and joy.
