Austin was just about the biggest baby we had ever seen!  Happy go lucky and a real cuddler, he was  a little bundle of joy.  

Sometimes it is harder to say goodbye 
to the Mama dog than the puppies. 
Often puppies themselves, they have experienced hardship and bond that much more.  Ava went back to the people that had her, but not before 
we at RROU had her spayed.

Austin was adopted by college student Micaela.  Because puppies remain in our care until they are neutered and fully vaccinated, Micaela knew she would have to wait to take Austin home. A dog lover herself, Micaela was in full support of our program and visited her new son every week until he was ready to leave at 11 weeks of age..
