Parents: This is an age appropriate page to help children learn about the importance of helping these precious homeless animals.
My sense is that children 12 and older should be ready for the entire website.

Guess what everyone?  We have a new dog here at Responsible Rescue of Uruguay. This poor little doggie was all alone in the world.  She is going to have babies but she did not have a home.  She did not even have food to keep her strong and healthy..  She was digging in the garbage cans on the street trying to find something to eat.  But a nice person found her and brought her here.  Now she is safe, has good food and is sleeping with her little new toy.  She is going to have babies any time now and as soon as she does, I will let you know!   I named her Ellie and do you know what that means?  It means that all of her babies will need names that start with the letter E.  So, start thinking of some good names for babies girl puppies and baby boy puppies!   The babies will also need some pretty pictures to look at.  It would be a big help if you can draw some nice things.

This caring woman, Serrana, brought Ellie here in her car.  At first, Ellie was afraid.  She did not know where she was, or who we are.  But after a little while, Ellie began to understand that we are going to take good care of her.  She started to feel safe and soon, she fell asleep.  Isn't she cute?
