Happy Endings!  

We have found that the best way to ensure a happy future for our puppies is to insist on an adoption donation.  The donation fee (at present $1.000 Uruguayan Pesos -about $32 U.S.D.) is consistent with the current economy such that it is affordable to those who are both committed to and able to afford the long term care of the dog. 
To help the success of our adoptions, we begin teaching our puppies how to be part of a human family. We start house-breaking our puppies at 4 weeks and with our grown up rescues to teach them, they learn so quickly!  Our puppies live in the house with us so they get plenty of socialization and love.
We are grateful for the amazing help we received from some of our new Uruguayan friends, who have given their time and support, even as they were skeptical that anyone could make a difference in this overwhelming crisis.
