Dreams Come True
|
The other day, my daughter and I went to help clean up the government run shelter and we were horrified at what we saw. For a country too "righteous" to euthanize, they think nothing of allowing animals with rotting infections to remain untreated, to have them live with dead rats and mange infestation until they have almost lost the will to live.
UPDATE!!!! Our miracle came true for both Feliz and Oscar when this amazing couple adopted them together! |
My daughter and I have created a "clinic" in the back of the property where we can treat sick animals without the risk of infecting our young puppies. We maintain the strictest protocol including a hot water shower and bleach washed clothes after caring for the sick.
Our new project is "Dreams Come True." We will be taking out dogs, restoring their health and dignity, then finding loving homes. No donation is more valuable than that of providing a loving home, but all funds are desperately needed to keep us going. PLEASE consider making a donation using the paypal button. We will be so proud to add your name to our sponsors.
"Skye's" leg was literally rotting away. Within a few weeks, she would have died a slow and painful death.
|
She is having her leg amputated and then she will spend the next few days watching T.V. on my bed:-) We are looking for a loving home for her now.
|
Skye is here with us, recovering after
her surgery. She has been unable to use that leg for so long that it will be easier for her to adjust. |
Our happy girl is healthy and ready to be adopted!
